Burke Mountain is located in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont at the intersection of I-93 and I-91. With every inch of its 2011' of vertical, Burke Mountain believes in all that made Vermont skiing famous. Its wooded trails are unique from the corporate resorts in that Burke Mountain has foregone the wider, flatter trails for trails and glades that respect the mountain's natural contours. Burke Mountain’s terrain is a blend of 14% novice, 42% intermediate, and 44% advanced runs. This ski area is the training grounds for Burke Mountain Academy, a boarding school for Alpine and Nordic skiers. The academy has placed 42 skiers in the Olympics over the past 33 years.
